Giving back
Our charity work
Charity has been at the heart of Freemasonry for over 300 years. As a lodge we support causes in our own community, as well as Masonic charities in West Kent and across the country.
How it works
Three ways we give
Almost everything Freemasons give to charity comes from members' own pockets and the fundraising they do together.
Local
In our community
The lodge chooses local charities and good causes to support each year, from hospices to youth groups.
Provincial
Across West Kent
We contribute to the Provincial Grand Lodge of West Kent Charity Fund (registered charity 289866), which supports Freemasons, their families and the wider community in the area.
National
Masonic Charitable Foundation
Funded entirely by Freemasons and their families, the MCF is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country, helping Freemasons and their families in need as well as many other charities.

Know a local cause we could help?
We're always glad to hear from charities and community groups in the Sidcup area.
